Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fragile Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are assembled and packaged according to company standards and regulatory guidelines. This position requires mechanical knowledge and an understanding of FDA regulations, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment. This position is specifically tailored towards packaging fragile glass vials.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and package products using hand tools and machinery while adhering to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Fabricate and improvise packaging materials as needed to meet production requirements.
- Ensure all packaged products comply with FDA regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaged goods to ensure quality and accuracy before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues with packaging equipment, including logic controllers, as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing role is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating machinery and troubleshooting equipment.
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience using hand tools and operating forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining attention to detail.
