Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all medication orders are processed in compliance with regulations.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Prefer bilingual in Spanish or other languages.
- Require local delivery 1-2 times a month.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, including medication administration and medical terminology.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism.
- Prefer with experience in retail pharmacy setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medication orders and patient records.
