We are seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician to manage the delivery operations of our pharmacy and assist in-store as needed. In this role, you will organize and coordinate daily deliveries, process payments, locate prescriptions, and provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person. You will also perform standard pharmacy technician duties such as filling prescriptions and assisting the pharmacist on duty once deliveries are complete. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare the pharmacy’s delivery schedule for the day
- Locate and prepare prescriptions for delivery
- Communicate with delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Deliver medications to patients as needed using the company vehicle
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries regarding prescriptions, deliveries, and payments
- Process payments for prescriptions and medical supplies
- Perform standard pharmacy technician duties when not coordinating deliveries, including:
- Filling and typing prescriptions
- Sorting, labeling, and stocking medications
- Maintaining inventory and assisting with orders
- Assisting the pharmacist on duty with delegated tasks
- Helping with store upkeep and maintenance
- Resolve prescription or delivery issues promptly (e.g., missing information, insurance rejections)
- Undertake administrative tasks such as updating delivery records and maintaining logs
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards for prescription handling
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
- Must be Licensed Pharmacy Technician with active license in Michigan
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Ability to drive company vehicle for deliveries as needed
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of prescription processing and inventory management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program

Monday- 9am-5pm
Tuesday- 9am-5pm
Wednesday - 9am-5pm
Thursday- 9am-5pm
Friday -9am-5pm
*Must be Licensed Pharmacy Technician with active license in Michigan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
