Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care environments. Your primary focus will be to assist in the implementation of treatment plans and support patients in their rehabilitation journey.
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls.
- Schedule appointments.
- Massage and stretch muscles where necessary.
- Set up therapy equipment.
- Sanitize therapy area.
- Lift or move patients.
- Monitor patients during sessions.
- Guide patients through exercises where necessary.
- Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care.
Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements:
- Certification from a physical therapist assistant program.
- Valid physical therapist assistant license.
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients.
- Computer literacy skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
