Idaho Foot & Ankle Center Physical Therapy is looking to hire a full-time Physical Therapy Technician. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physical therapist in providing high-quality care to patients. Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in assisting with patient treatments. Your dedication to patient service and acute care will contribute to creating a positive experience for patients during their therapy sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapist with patient care and treatment plans
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and documenting patient progress
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
