MWF or T R : 8:30-6:30
The Physical Therapy Aide/Technician performs direct and indirect patient care as assigned by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with treatment procedures as directed by therapists according to clinic policies and procedures.
- Cleaning/preparing treatment areas
- Maintaining a neat and clean environment
- Assisting directly and indirectly with patient care by insuring a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment
-Assisting with front desk duties as needed
- Assisting with appointment scheduling when necessary
-Providing guidance to patients throughout their physical therapy exercise programs
Physical Therapy Technicians for Physical Therapy Now will be responsible for assisting the Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists with patient modalities, exercises, facility management, straightening, cleaning, front desk support, and various tasks within the clinic. Patient Modalities include Ice, Heat, Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation, Cervical Traction, Lumbar Traction, Iontophoresis, etc.
License:
Basic Life Support (Preferred)
Education:
Some College Preferred, Pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy preferred, but not required
Experience:
1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required
Athletic or personal training experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
