Program Coordination:
Job Summary:
The role of Pickleball Professional is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation, coordination and development of our pickleball programs and provide assistance to our Bocce Ball Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in racquet sports, including racquets instruction, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of Pickleball and Bocce Ball programs, including clinics, tournaments, leagues, and social events.
- Coordinate court bookings and ensure efficient scheduling to maximize court usage.
- Maintain and update the calendar of events and programs for members.
Member Engagement:
- Provide excellent customer service to members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Promote racquet sports programs to increase member participation and engagement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, encouraging an inclusive and welcoming environment.
Instruction and Coaching:
- Provide pickleball instruction to players of all ages and skill levels, as needed.
- Develop weekly standing clinics facilitating member requests and overall skill development.
- Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive pickleball lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in racquet sports.
Facility Management:
- Ensure the racquet sports facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of racquet sports equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any facility issues promptly.
- Ensure members/ guests understand pickleball rules, scoring procedures, safety rules and etiquette.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare reports on program participation, member feedback, and other relevant metrics.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating promotional materials and updating the club's website and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a racquet sports environment, preferably in a club or similar setting.
- IPTPA or PPR certification for pickleball.
- Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in event planning and program development.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the club’s schedule of activities.
- Physical ability to engage in racquet sports and assist with facility maintenance tasks.

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
