We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate commercial vehicles. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing GPS navigation systems when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any necessary documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Assist in restaurant duties such as; restocking, cleaning, and customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving practices is essential.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial but not required.
