Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with experience in quick service or fast food restaurants. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to perfection while ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
- Cook pizzas in accordance with customer orders while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during food preparation and cooking processes.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience handling cash registers and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques within the restaurant industry is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
