Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food output.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Assist in menu development by providing input on new pizza recipes and seasonal offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and food safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes that delight customers.
- Certification in food handling or culinary arts is a plus but not required.
