We are seeking to hire Extrusion Operators for the 3rd shift at our Fairview, PA facility.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN.
Job Overview:
We are seeking Extrusion Operators to join our team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production requirements
- Produce parts in accordance with specifications and industry standards
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating extrusion machinery is desired, but will train the right candidate
- Experience with operating a forklift
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Fundamental math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial
- Experience in assembly or warehouse environments is valuable
Physical requirements:
Typical manufacturing working conditions include standing, walking and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Plant work includes exposure to dust, noise, and seasonal temperatures and hazards. Proper precautions including using PPE to ensure safety to self and others.
