Immediate opening for a Helper/Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning the essential skills needed in the plumbing industry. You will be involved in various tasks at construction sites and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Duties
- Assist licensed plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Help maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Participate in construction plumbing tasks, including laying pipes and fixtures.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- A willingness to learn about plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively on a construction site, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials, digging, crawling under houses.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.
