The job of a lead installer is to work closely with installation specialists and installation helpers, as well as on their own, to complete all potential Plumbing projects in a professional, progressive, and increasingly high-quality manner. As a lead installer, the responsibility for the proper execution of a project is placed firmly on the shoulders of the team member. As such, a lead installer receives a bonus on all installations which are completed following BEST processes and up to BEST standards which also pass inspection and do not have installation-related recalls.
A lead installer must be able to plan installs and guide installers who are at the beginning of the career path on the correct way to do things, therefore firsthand experience with installs is required.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on-time, appropriately dressed and ready to work
- Completing installations at or above the quality required by BEST
- Provide guidance to installation helpers and installation specialists while working together on projects
- Working with all levels of the career path which occur before level 1 lead to help their progression on the career path
- Have a full understanding of ServiceTitan (or be trainable) and be able to train other team members on its use
- Keep an orderly and stocked work vehicle
- Follow all BEST processes and procedures
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Have your own tools
- Have valid Drivers' Licence
- Good driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
