Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PM GSR (Guest Service Representative) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a grocery store environment, ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will assist with food preparation, manage point-of-sale transactions, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their needs.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle food items safely and responsibly, following all food handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
