We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Ideal candidate must be licensed in Arkansas.
Shift: Part Time with weekend availability
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate treatment plans are developed.
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as catheter care and esthetic laser treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication administration.
- Interpret medical imaging results and utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.
- Deliver care in specialized areas such as critical care, gastroenterology, and occupational health as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in infant care, demonstrating the ability to provide specialized attention to newborns.
- Experience with esthetic laser treatment techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of critical care practices to manage complex patient needs effectively.
- Competence in medication administration protocols to ensure safe delivery of treatments.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles for workplace-related health assessments.
- Understanding of gastroenterology practices for managing digestive system disorders.
- Proficient in using ICD-10 coding for accurate medical record keeping.
- Skilled in catheter care procedures to assist patients with urinary issues.
- Ability to interpret medical imaging results accurately to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing is advantageous for providing comprehensive patient care.
