Job Summary:

Fuller Apartment Homes, Inc. is a fast-paced, tech-forward, paperless organization intent on excellence at every level. We build our luxury apartment complexes from the ground up and manage them with exceptional customer service and high standards with regards to tenant relations as well as property upkeep and maintenance. This is a full-time position with working hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

The role of…..

The Porter is called upon to function in the following areas:

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain cleanliness of all exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, and dumpster areas
• Remove trash and debris from common areas, breezeways, and grounds on a daily basis
• Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in laundry rooms, restrooms, and clubhouse (if applicable)
• Assist with upkeep of amenities such as pool areas, fitness centers, and barbecue areas
• Perform minor repairs or report maintenance needs to appropriate staff
• Assist the maintenance team with unit turns (cleaning, light touch-up)
• Provide access to apartments for scheduled vendors, ensuring proper entry & security procedures are followed
• Ensure all tools and equipment are used and stored safely
• Respond promptly to management requests
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with residents and fellow team members
• Respond to noise complaints, parking violations as needed during office hours
• Delivering packages left out in mail room
• Dog waste pick up

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe usage

Work Environment:

This position involves outdoor work and requires walking the property multiple times a day. The Porter must be able to work in varying weather conditions and occasionally assist with heavier maintenance tasks.

• Be a team player. Support your team members by fulfilling your duties/assignments and lending assistance to your team members as required.

• Use good judgment for all your decisions.
• Ask questions when in doubt on any matter. And refrain from making independent or unilateral decisions because something is not clearly understood. Don’t shortcut protocol or procedures.
• Use good communication with Home Office and Staff Members. Please respond promptly to all emails, phone calls or requests for help from your teammates.
