At Smart Beginnings Early Learning Center, we believe every child deserves a strong foundation for a bright future. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Pre-K Teacher to join our team and guide our 4- to 5-year-olds through their final year before kindergarten.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Missouri Early Learning Standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, independence, and confidence
- Track developmental milestones and maintain individual portfolios
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and classroom events
- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain daily routines and structure while supporting social-emotional development
- Participate in professional development, team meetings, and center events
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Missouri State Teaching Certificate for Early Childhood (preferred, not required)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to build rapport with young children
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background checks per state licensing requirements
- Knowledgeable in Procare, and how to use a tablet

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
