Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to implement effective behavior management strategies. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child’s development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.
- Support the emotional and social well-being of students through early intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of child welfare principles and early intervention techniques.
- Proficiency in classroom management strategies to effectively guide student behavior.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math and other foundational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff members.
- Previous experience in a private school setting is a plus but not required.
