Our early intervention preschool classrooms combine therapeutic supports with academic foundations to give each child the tools they need to thrive.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our early interventions team. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about working with young children with unique needs and who thrive in collaborative, structured environments.
You’ll be responsible for implementing individualized learning strategies, collaborating with therapists and support staff, and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily lesson plans tailored to early learners with developmental delays
- Support IEP goals and collaborate with therapists (Speech, OT, ABA, etc.)
- Track and document student progress using data and observation
- Foster a safe, engaging, and consistent learning environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and needs
- Supervise and support classroom aides and assistants
Qualifications:
- CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), or related field
- Experience working with children ages 2–5, especially those with autism or developmental delays
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and behavior support techniques
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills
- Level II Background Screening (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an early intervention, special education, or ABA therapy setting
- ESE or Pre-K Certification (if applicable)
- Familiarity with data collection tools and classroom technologies
