Job Title: Press Unloader (Seasonal)
Position Reporting:
This position is part of Sunday Cool - Operations reporting to the Operations Manager.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 4pm.
Overtime may be required based on workload and production demands. This position will be likely to have overtime or weekend work during the peak of busy season, position runs May-July. Position has the potential for permanent employment at the conclusion of busy season based on business needs and performance.
Compensation:
Hourly position: $14/hour or depends on experience
Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities would include identifying quality control issues with prints, unloading the apparel from the press, and providing relief to the press operator.
· Assist in operating an automatic screen-printing press
· Break down screens after each job runs
· Unloading shirts (pulling shirts off the press and laying them on the dryer)
· Learn to identify quality control issues (trash in ink, crooked prints, etc.)
· Continued education regarding press knowledge (how to become a Press Operator)
· Notify Press Operator of quality control issues
· Basic press operation and safety knowledge
· Basic knowledge of how to load shirts when needed
· General housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to stand for extended periods of time in a non-climate-controlled work area. The employee must be able to maneuver around printing equipment, narrow aisles, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Probationary Period & Termination
During the first 90 days we will be training you specifically for the above position. Before the conclusion of your probationary period, we will meet with you to review and determine if this is a long term fit for both parties. Sunday Cool, LLC reserves the right to terminate employment of any employee at any time without notice and without payment in lieu of notice, subject to the laws of the State of Florida.
Overtime & Payroll:
Once you work over 40 hours in a work week, you will receive overtime pay which is 1.5X the above hourly rate. You will be able to track your hours by using your own personalized code to clock in/out of our Time Management system, Homebase. We pay biweekly (Every other week) on Fridays. Pay is based on eighty standard hours per pay period and Sunday Cool has 26 pay periods/year.
