Pressman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pressman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of prepress processes, color management, and layout design. The Pressman will work closely with the graphic design team to fabricate printed materials that meet client specifications.

Duties

• Operate and maintain various types of printing presses, including screen printing and CNC machinery.
• Collaborate with the graphic design team to execute layout designs accurately.
• Conduct prepress checks to ensure all files are print-ready, addressing any issues prior to production.
• Manage color consistency throughout the printing process, making adjustments as necessary.
• Fabricate printed materials according to project specifications and deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the production area.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a press operation role is preferred, with a strong understanding of printing processes.
• Familiarity with prepress techniques and graphic design principles is highly desirable.
• Experience in screen printing or machining is a plus.
• Proficiency in color management and layout design is essential for producing high-quality prints.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification may be required based on company policy.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
