This position focuses on preventive maintenance and light repairs for small trucks up to Class 8 vehicles (gas and diesel), supporting fleet uptime and reliability.

Pay-for-Performance: $72,000 - $163,000 (A/B Level Technicians) depending on your skill level, experience, and efficiency.

Earn $27 to $45 per hour on a performance-based pay scale

Employment Type: Full-Time | 2nd Shift | Multi-Brand Repairs & Service

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance services including oil and fluid changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, tire rotations, and lubrication.

  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify wear, leaks, and safety concerns.

  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments, such as replacing belts, hoses, batteries, and lights.

  • Document work performed and communicate with service advisors on inspection results and any recommended repairs.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following company and OSHA safety standards.

  • Support the technician team by preparing vehicles for more complex repairs when needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in preventive maintenance or light-duty repairs (diesel or automotive).

  • Familiarity with servicing small trucks up to Class 8 vehicles (both gas & diesel).

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, lubrication, and inspection procedures.

  • Ability to use preventive maintenance checklists, inspection tools, and handheld diagnostic equipment.

  • Must have own basic tools and a valid driver’s license.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus).
