About the Role:
A nationally recognized employment law firm is seeking a Special Counsel to join its remote-first litigation team. What You’ll Do:
Manage single-plaintiff employment litigation in state and federal courts
Handle administrative charges, demand letters, and EPLI-related matters
Lead case strategy, legal writing, and litigation execution
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys when needed
Collaborate with a national team of partners, counsel, and legal support
Attend occasional hearings or conferences (mostly local)
What We’re Looking For
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
7+ years of employment litigation experience (law firm experience strongly preferred)
Barred and in good standing in CA, MN, NV, WA, or CO
Proven success in independently managing litigation from start to finish
Experience with EPLI matters is highly preferred
Excellent writing, litigation, and case management skills
Comfortable working remotely in a tech-enabled, distributed legal environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $185,000 – $200,000
Bonus: Up to 10% annually
Billable Target: ~1,750 to 1,850 hours/year
