The Principal Research Scientist will perform funded research and provide technical assessments for domestic and international M&A affecting the Defense Industrial Base.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform funded research, and provide technical assessments for domestic and international M&A affecting the Defense Industrial Base
• Provide expertise in program management, technical assessments and cross-functional leadership
• Perform and provide engineering support to the DEVCOM Tech Loop process
• Ph.D. with 42+ months (3.5 years) of full-time work experience or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 7+ years engineering experience supporting RDECOM/DEVCOM
• Experience in Program management, and Systems Engineering
• US citizenship is required
• Ph.D. with 48+ months (4+ years) of full-time verifiable work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 8+ years engineering experience supporting RDECOM/DEVCOM desired
• SPRDE Level III certification preferred
