Scope
To keep production line operating according to Production, Quality, EHS, Spoilage, Efficiency and Customer Standards

Main activities

• Set the machine per job and production plan
• Carryout daily preventive maintenance at the beginning of the shift
• Review specifications and monitor production of tubes to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Monitor operation of production equipment to ensure efficiency
• Operate machines given design conditions and process parameters
• Ensure system compliance
• Ensure all inputs of raw materials per production plan
• Carryout process inspection on tubes per work instructions
• Trouble shooting, tool changes with assistance of production supervision and maintenance personnel
• Continuous improvement of production lines – improve efficiencies and reduce waste
• Adherence to production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Troubleshoot and changeover tooling and machines
• Train new employees on production machinery
• Keep area and equipment neat and organized as per a 5S environment
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Other duties as required

Accountability including KPIs

• Set up and establish process conditions to assist in achieving quality product within specification and minimal scrap
• Set run conditions to achieve optimal production while maintaining safe operation and quality output.

Profile (Experience & qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 years production experience required operating AISA, PSG, or other specialized tubing machinery
• Ability to changeover tooling
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Ability to train employees on how to operate specialized machinery
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through work experience or vocational training
• Basic math skills and knowledge of data collection methods
• Ability to work overtime or non-regular hours as necessary
• Willingness to adhere to Company safety rules and requirements
• Ability to work well within a Team Environment
• Manual dexterity, ability to maintain brisk pace of production
