We are looking for a Produce Clerk who is comfortable interacting with customers and can answer produce question with impeccable customer service. Prior produce and/or farm related experience along with an interest in creative merchandising is a plus. Being a small store, the Produce person is required to work the front register in order to facilitate breaks or when the store gets busy and there needs to be a second cashier.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provide excellent customer service
- Clean, trim, package, and display products
- Knowledge of how to properly handle produce
- Self-motivated and effective at managing time
- Ability to follow instruction and procedures
- Able to prioritize a list of duties to complete throughout shift
- Must be able to follow direction and work as a supportive member of the team
- Cleaning shelves and produce cases
- Physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending and lifting of 25-50 lb’s
Passion for Organic, Specialty and Natural foods is a plus!
Must have a flexible open schedule and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
