Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the BU team on projects related to existing core business such as inventory, product availability, marketing materials, organizing and pulling financial reports, project management, as well as new product development/launches and any other category related activities that may arise, as directed by the product management team. This position will also assist with product quality cuttings and recaps. Requires work in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting product/marketing managers in various projects for the product management team. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with an interest in learning about the company as well as both food service and retail.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Marketing, Finance, Business Management or Supply Chain majors preferred. Sophomore level or higher required.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this position interacts with all levels of management in different areas of the business.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, (Excel and PowerPoint are very critical in this position). We will train in Tyson related systems.
- Special Skills: Must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented, and able to handle the various projects they are given. Must be multi-task oriented with stress management skills as well as a team player who is excited to learn more about Tyson Foods
- Location: Students must be within commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.
Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
