Job Summary:
The Production Associate is responsible for operating packaging workstations and performing related tasks to ensure products are prepared accurately and efficiently according to specifications. This role includes reading batch instructions, selecting proper materials, packaging products, and verifying order information. The Production Associate works under direct supervision, follows established guidelines, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machinery and assist other team members as needed.
- Follow batch instructions and SOPs to select appropriate packaging materials and equipment.
- Accurately fill, secure, and label containers.
- Verify product and label information using a tablet.
- Transport finished goods using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas following GMP and SQF standards.
- Assemble boxes and perform light material handling duties.
- Support raw material pulling and supply replenishment.
- Assist with cycle counts and general housekeeping tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 0–2 years of related experience; food manufacturing or packaging experience is a plus.
- Certifications/Training: Completion of training in GMP, Safety & HAZCOM, Knife Policy, Food Defense, and other relevant areas required.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
