At Smart Grid Solutions we develop and manufacture devices for electric utilities to help their line crews and improve the uptime for their electric grid. We have a small team which means everyone has a big impact. We all wear a lot of hats and we help each other regardless of our role and department.
As a Production Associate, your primary focus is making our product ready to go into the end user’s hands. You will assemble, configure, calibrate, test, and quality check various materials, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You will use our computerized systems to prioritize orders, and update the data in those systems so the rest of the organization stays in sync. We value assertive, direct feedback. If you see a problem (i.e. damage, nonconformance, a ship-by date that will be missed) we need you to speak up as soon as you become aware of it. We value continuous improvement and you will play an important role in collecting data and documenting processes.
