For our R&D laboratory in Devens, MA we wish to hire one Production Scale Research and Development Chemist
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform syntheses of air sensitive chemicals at 20L scale, utilizing Schlenk line and glove box techniques
- Perform testing of new product sample to determine physical and chemical properties
- Set up and operate equipment for kilogram scale synthesis
- Operate in-house analytical instruments to check product quality
- Record and analyze process and analytical data
- Help to develop experimental procedures and work instructions.
- Order raw materials, consumables, and equipment necessary for experiments
- Participate and contribute to safety reviews / hazards analyses
- Help keep the lab clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience with synthetic chemistry.
- Strong interest and experimental experience with organometallic chemistry
- Strong written and oral communication skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
