We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to join our Roller Shade business. This role is essential in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of hourly employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and possess strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise daily production operations to ensure schedules and quality standards are met.
· Manage, coach, and develop a team of hourly employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
· Monitor and optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
· Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
· Utilize computer systems for scheduling, inventory tracking, and reporting production metrics.
· Identify and address bottlenecks, quality issues, and process inefficiencies proactively.
· Maintain accurate records of production data and employee performance.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as quality, maintenance, and purchasing, to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of experience managing hourly employees in a production or manufacturing setting.
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, ERP systems – preferably Net Suite.
· Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
· Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a diverse team.
· Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in manufacturing or business management is preferred.
· Bilingual preferred
