Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by following established cleaning protocols.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Handle custodial responsibilities such as restroom sanitation and waste disposal.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including buffing floors and minor repairs.
- Support residential painting projects when required, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning assignments are completed efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous but not required.
