Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality, with responsibilities that span various cleaning tasks and upkeep of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure they meet established standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices for efficient operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
- A background in hospitality or housekeeping is preferred.
