Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a "Relocation Specialist", you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their moving needs, ensuring that their belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture and boxes during loading and unloading processes.
- You may be required to drive & safely operate company delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws.
- Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport to prevent damage during the move.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during each move.
Experience
- Don't know about moving? We are willing to train all highly-motivated and driven individuals who see themselves as a perfect fit for our company.
- Previous experience in moving or logistics is not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
- Experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
- A valid driver’s license is required; commercial driving experience is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.52 - $24.71 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
