Position Summary: Program Manager


We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Program Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of multiple projects and initiatives. The Program Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, coordination, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, managing resources, and delivering measurable outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline.


The role supports initiatives including system implementations, operational improvements, product rollouts, regulatory compliance projects, and facility upgrades.


Classification: This is a Full-Time exempt position and reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.


Job Location: Howard/Hamilton County


Project Lifecycle Management


  • Lead the full lifecycle of projects (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure) using standardized project management methodologies.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status meetings, and post-project reviews.

Platform Implementation and Optimization (Wrike)

  • Lead the configuration, rollout, and optimization of Wrike as the bank’s project management platform.
  • Ensure effective implementation and adoption of Wrike to support efficient project execution and cross-team collaboration.
  • Design and maintain standardized project templates, workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools within Wrike to align bank initiatives.
  • Provide training, resources, and ongoing support to ensure Wrike adoption and effective usage across departments.
  • Act as Wrike system administrator, ensuring best practices and continuous improvements are applied to enhance usability and efficiency.
  • Monitor Wrike utilization metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and increase platform engagement.

Governance and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead Project Governance Committee meetings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and external vendors.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise project updates, dashboards, and reports (leveraging Wrike and other tools).
  • Collaborate with key leaders to ensure vendor contracts and service agreements align with project goals.

Risk and Compliance Management

  • Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and risk management protocols.

Financial and Resource Management

  • Assist in project budgeting, monitoring expenditures, and forecasting financial impacts.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of projects.

Continuous Improvement and Organizational Development

  • Continue the development and refinement of the bank’s project management framework and tools.
  • Provide coaching and project management guidance to department leads and project teams.
  • Document lessons learned and share best practices to enhance organizational project maturity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or regulated industries, preferred but not required.
  • Experience leading project management software implementations.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams within the institution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Wrike (or similar platforms), MS Office Suite, and collaboration tools.
