ABOUT THE POSITION
Our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager oversees various court-wide projects from initiation to completion, including planning, organization, management, execution, and delivery of projects with varying levels of complexity, size, and impact. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and monitor enterprise-level projects, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation from initiation through completion
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, such as proposals, schedules, budgets, risk registers, status reports, and communications materials for review by EPMO leadership and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors or consultants, ensuring work is performed on time, within scope, and according to contract and court requirements.
  • Serve as primary liaison with stakeholders, including judicial officers, court and county staff, and external partners facilitating meetings, presenting updates, managing expectations, and escalating issues when necessary
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues and risks, recommending solutions, implementing corrective actions, and applying continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency and quality

THIS IS A TELEWORK ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY
This position may be eligible for full or partial telework contingent upon the needs of the Court.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the time of application:

OPTION I:
Bachelor’s degree* from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in economics, business administration, public administration, statistics, public policy, or a closely related field – AND – three (3) years of experience in roles related to project management**, business analytics, program evaluation, and/or process improvement.

OPTION II:
Seven (7) years of experience in roles related to project management**, business analytics, program evaluation, and/or process improvement.

**Project management refers to administrative oversight and coordination of projects, programs, or initiatives typically involving planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.

Note:
Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio (e.g., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience). Overtime does not count toward additional credit.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a Court or other public or legal agency or organization.
  • Experience managing concurrent, complex initiatives with competing deadlines and shifting priorities, while aligning work with timelines.
  • Experience developing project plans and documentation that define scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing internal and external relationships.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership, judicial officers, department heads, and other key stakeholders.
