The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, managing and executing projects related to client marketing campaigns. The PM identifies the tasks that need to be completed to execute campaigns, builds timeline, manage assigned staff and vendors, and keep the team working the campaign on track. Superior communication skills are required, as the Project Manager is responsible for motivating team members and maximizing productivity.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Take direction from Account Manager on campaign responsibilities

Create project timelines and ensure adherence by all project staff

Provide direction to internal and external team members

Train Mendoza’s Brand Ambassador Team members in collaboration with Senior Project Manager and Account Managers on project specific best practices

Create event checklists and coordinate event logistics such as staffing assignments, communication of event objectives, pre-event meetings, training and reporting responsibilities

Meet with Brand Ambassador team prior to each event to assign roles and responsibilities

Attend and supervise Brand Ambassadors at on-site client events, when required

Report project and event results in a timely manner to Account Managers

Lead communication with assigned staff and occasionally with clients
Brainstorm concepts and strategies for new business RFPs alongside Account Manager, when requested

Track and manage budgets for each assigned campaign

Work with CFO and Account Manager on campaign billing and budget reconciliations

Participate in Mendoza Group’s weekly project meetings, and client meetings as requested by the assigned Account Manager

Write campaign wrap-up reports in collaboration with Account Manager and Creative team

Work collaboratively with Mendoza team members on selected community outreach projects

Develop relationships with community partners

Identify and source promotional products needed for assigned projects

Purchase promotional products within project budget parameters

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors

Verify hours/expenses reported by Brand Ambassadors after each project outreach event

Requirements of the Position:

- Fluency in Spanish-language a plus

- Event Planning experience a must

- Strong communication and people skills – effectively motivate team and be a trusted resource of information for all staff, and clients when needed

- Organizational Skills - must thrive on organization

- Prioritization Skills - arrange project tasks in the most efficient manner

- Decision Making Skills – be decisive & act in best interests of company and its’ clients

- Analytical Skills – use research (analyze current information, studies & trends) to guide project strategies

- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of prior work experience in project management

- Have reliable means of transportation to travel to events

Salary: $60,000-$65,000 (based on qualifications/experience)

Work Location: Hybrid – must be available to commute to our Newtown Square office when required to prep for events and as needed to fulfill the role of Project Manager.
