WHS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Project Manager/CAD Designer to be part of our growing team based out of our Grand Junction, CO office. Our Civil Engineering and Land Surveying team offers support for all public and private projects delivering expertise for a wide range of municipal, commercial, oil/gas, and industrial clients. Essential Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a Draftsman or Engineering Technician at a land surveying, engineering firm
- 5+ years of experience working with AutoCAD and Trimble software
- 3+ years of experience with Land Surveying in Oil & Gas
- Experience working with AutoCAD Civil3D, Carlson, ArcGIS and/orTBC
- Requires the capability of working within a variety of industries including but not limited to: Oil & Gas, Construction & Development, and Government related projects
- Must have excellent time management skills, be able to work within and meet project deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Essential Duties:
- Utilize latest AutoCAD and/or Carlson software to prepare drawings
- Project planning, organization, and scheduling
- Execute requested drawing maintenance, standards, updating, revisions, etc.
- Manage the course of projects, research records and produce reports team lead and Clients
- Ability to manage project folders and files to company standards
- Review preliminary and final drawings prepared by other CAD Techs
- Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources, including field data, plats, and other records
- Exceptional file and data management skills.
- Efficiently collect, process, and evaluate GPS data
- Work proficiently on various projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with various departments, including direct contact with clients to produce deliverables
- Possible field work may be necessary
