Project Manager - Heavy/Highway Construction & Paving
Join our team as a Project Manager in the heavy/highway construction and paving industry. We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our projects to success.
Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, quality work, and adherence to budget
* Utilize Microsoft Project for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking
* Review and understand civil plans and specifications, ensuring compliance and accuracy
* Coordinate submittals, purchasing, job costing, and invoicing processes
* Collaborate with project teams, including superintendents, engineers, and estimators
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
* Familiarity with State of Connecticut DAS (Department of Administrative Services) and DOT (Department of Transportation) procedures and requirements
* Knowledge of CHRO (Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities) requirements and regulations
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in heavy/highway construction and paving project management
* Proven track record of successful project delivery
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
* Familiarity with civil plans and specifications
* Experience with submittals, purchasing, job costing, and invoicing processes
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
* Familiarity with State of Connecticut DAS and DOT procedures and requirements
* Knowledge of CHRO requirements and regulations
