Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential single family properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management, tenant relations, and regulatory compliance. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Utilize property management software for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management. Appfolio experience preferred.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Negotiate contracts with service providers and vendors for property maintenance and repairs.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and facilitate upselling of available units.
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is essential. Must have experience managing a portfolio of single family homes.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing regulations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants.
- Proficient in conflict management and negotiation techniques.
- Real Estate License is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage data entry tasks efficiently.
- Previous sales experience is beneficial for upselling opportunities within the property portfolio.
