Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychometrics Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in assessing and evaluating psychological and educational testing, ensuring accurate interpretations of data, and providing insights that support the development of effective treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychology, social work, or related fields, with experience working with diverse populations, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine cognitive and emotional functioning.
- Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities, adapting approaches to meet their unique needs.
- Experience administering psychological assessments such as the WAIS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to psychological assessments.
- Ability to administer tests accurately while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficient in managing medical records and documentation practices.
