Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Dental Assisting Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Qualifications- Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma, associate degree preferred
- Certifications:
- RDA and/or
- CDA and
- DANB RHS
- At least three years of experience chairside as a Dental Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
