Chantilly Heights is looking for a Part Time LPN to work WEEKENDs.
In this vital role you’re responsible for…
- Providing direct patient care and support, through the administration of medication, vitals monitoring and aiding in daily living activities
- Continuously monitoring and documenting resident status, making relevant observations in accordance with facility and resident standards
- Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure effective communication, efficiency and safety for all staff and residents
- Display an eagerness for continuous learning and organizational improvement
- Active State of Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse License
- Graduate of a state approved school of vocational, practical or professional Nursing program.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Good physical and mental health, producing upon hire, and as required, a satisfactory examination from a physician or equivalent indicating that the individual is free from any health impairment which is of potential risk to residents, or which might interfere with the performance of the individuals' duties.
- Occasional twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and crouching and the ability to sit, stand, and walk during all shifts.
- May need to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) lbs.
- Produce a PPD (Mantoux) skin test or blood test for tuberculosis and immunization records as required.
