Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Petition Circulators. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering signatures in support of various petitions, engaging with the public, and promoting awareness of important issues. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
Duties
- Actively engage with the public to gather signatures for petitions.
- Communicate effectively about the purpose and importance of each petition.
- Utilize door-to-door strategies to maximize outreach efforts.
- Market petitions through various channels, including social media and community events.
- Negotiate with potential signers to encourage participation.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with community members.
- Supervise and coordinate small teams when necessary to enhance signature collection efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of signatures collected and report progress regularly.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Sales or telemarketing, showcasing persuasive communication skills.
- Customer service, demonstrating a commitment to engaging positively with the public.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, allowing for broader outreach within diverse communities.
- Previous experience in electioneering or similar roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with supervising teams or managing outreach campaigns is beneficial.
