The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for initiating and coordinating quality-related information from production, service, and process improvement activities. The QA Analyst is responsible for publishing reports using statistical techniques and is involved in quality improvement projects.
Requirements:- Prepare reporting to provide insight into quality and food safety metrics for the Quality department and suppliers
- Verify the cascading and adherence of all corporate food safety and quality policies across assigned locations
- Maintain strong professional relationships across all locations supported and internal teams to enable responsive partnerships
- Ensure products are produced according to Ghirardelli standards and address any discrepancies with internal/external parties
- Communicate with internal and external team to ensure timely and effective problem resolution and go-forward action plan
- Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools as needed
- Perform and oversee analysis and recommend appropriate analytic, statistic, and data visualization methods, resources, and tools, act as SME for assigned programs
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and accountability in a self-directed manner
- Maintain, refine and improve processes to meet customer requirements
- Develop and improve documentation
- Provide support for product trials, with data analysis and specification recommendation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation: 68,000-85,000
