The Quality Compliance Specialist supports the Quality Assurance function through management of quality system documentation, internal audits and controlled change processes. This role is responsible for ensuring Certor Sports’ processes, procedures, and ERP system changes align with internal quality standards and the requirements of NOCSAE, SEI, and other regulatory bodies.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS) through the revision and control of SOPs, coordination of engineering change requests and deviations, creation and maintenance of item master data in the ERP system, and participation in quality auditing activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work cross-functionally and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review, revise, and maintain controlled documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality forms.
- Process engineering change requests (ECRs), ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and implementation.
- Coordinate and document quality deviations and assist in root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
- Create new item numbers and update product master data in the ERP system (e.g., BOMs, routings, specifications).
- Implement approved product and process changes into the ERP system with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparation for external audits and certification body reviews.
- Track and report audit findings and ensure corrective actions are addressed and closed out.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cross-functional quality projects.

- Strong working knowledge of document control and quality system principles.
- Experience processing engineering changes and deviations in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and basic data maintenance.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, SEI, or NOCSAE standards preferred.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, document control, or regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.
