Job Summary
The Quality Control Associate plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting various tests and analyses in a laboratory setting, adhering to regulatory guidelines, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory practices and a keen eye for detail.
Duties
- Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials and finished products using established protocols.
- Utilize instruments such as Karl Fischer, HPLC, GC and Particle size, and ICP
- Utilize laboratory information management systems to record and track test results accurately.
- Perform analyses using techniques such as spectroscopy and wet chemistry to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with microbiology teams to assess microbial contamination and validate cleanliness of products.
- Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) throughout all testing processes.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment regularly to maintain accuracy in testing procedures.
- Stay informed about FDA regulations and industry standards to ensure all practices meet compliance requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in a scientific discipline.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, including analytical chemistry, microbiology, and spectroscopy.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems for data entry and analysis.
- Ability to perform calibrations on various laboratory instruments effectively.
- Understanding of CGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members across departments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
