YOUR DAY AS A QUALITY CONTROL-ENGINEERING TECH III
As a Quality Control-Engineering Tech III with Government Contracting Resources, Inc., you will be at the forefront of ensuring excellence and compliance in our utility and facility operations. Your role includes meticulously planning and organizing quality control inspections across all assigned areas, identifying compliance issues, and conducting thorough inspections to ensure adherence to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). You'll be responsible for creating detailed inspection reports and documentation to substantiate your findings, maintaining a quality-compliant workplace. In this dynamic environment, you'll monitor subcontractor performance and assist in the preparation of progress reports, all while adapting to shifting priorities.
Your proactive approach will involve responding to emergency maintenance needs and collaborating effectively with management and government officials to resolve issues. With a focus on maintaining high standards and a customer-centric attitude, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to excellence in every aspect of the project.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS QUALITY CONTROL-ENGINEERING TECH III JOB
To thrive as a Quality Control-Engineering Tech III with Government Contracting Resources, Inc., you'll need a unique blend of skills and experience. U.S. Citizenship, alongside successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, is fundamental.
A valid state driver's license is also a prerequisite. You should possess a broad knowledge of quality control concepts and procedures, enabling you to effectively collect, collate, analyze, and compare performance data against contract requirements. Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for navigating the complexities of the role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills will allow you to convey information clearly and follow instructions accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required to facilitate reporting and documentation processes. Additionally, a minimum of three years of experience enforcing Quality Management System (QMS) programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity, along with a high school diploma or equivalent, will position you for success in this vital role.
