Job Description:


SUMMARY

Responsible for defining, documenting, and applying a Quality Control Plan (QCP), including flowcharts, documenting multiple reviews at the program and corporate level. Document processes and management controls employed to ensure project requirements are met and include specific work required and methods used to determine product quality and technical adequacy and include methods for conducting intermittent and ongoing reviews of deliverables.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review the production activities and capabilities considering contract quality requirements.
  • Ensure the production team understands the Quality Assurance (QA) processes.
  • Develop the written quality or inspection procedures.
  • Responsible for consistent quality throughout the project by developing and enforcing quality practices and confirming those processes and supplying proper documentation.
  • Implement standard operating procedures where applicable.
  • Prepare quality control reports (including data analysis).
  • Identify and institute corrective action when necessary.
  • Interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Assure product deliverables and processes meet required customer and internal quality standards and requirements.
  • Adhere to core values of excellence, integrity and respect.
  • Promote quality achievement and continuous improvement throughout the program.
  • Manage process capability verification using engineering and product verification tools.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum three (3) years of experience in Quality Control Specialist role or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret clearance (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Associate degree in writing.
  • Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment with minimal guidance/supervision
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, analytic, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.


TRAVEL

Potential for travel. When required, employee will need to complete an MVR check.


DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a hybrid setting. Employee will work remotely and, in an office setting in Pensacola, FL. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling and working with small objects. Must be able to wear protective eye wear. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

  • Pay: $79,268.80 per year.
