The Quality Process Support Manager will manage the Nonconforming Material process and support new chemistry introduction and other activities related to new component introductions.

What You’ll Do:
This key role in the Operations Quality interfaces directly with Process Technology, the LZA business technology and commercial groups, blend test services, R&D, data science and the LZA manufacturing plants along with global quality professionals to develop and align specification processes and activities to assure quality in intermediates, products, and testing. This position reports to the Senior Manager Manufacturing Quality.
What we are Looking For:
- Own and oversee the Nonconforming Material process for component chemistries and work with Process Technology and business units to provide disposition guidelines.
- Support the New Chemical Introduction Process.
- Support new raw material introductions.
- Participate in specification management for components with focus on optimizing in-process and final specifications.
- Execute material dispositions of non-conforming material for components.
- Lead and execute continual improvement projects based on NCM data related to specifications.
- Seek opportunities to improve the NCM process.
- Provide QA input into the Manufacturing Authorization process.
- Drive utilization of QHSES for RCA and CAPA across all LZA plants globally.
- Drive conformance to Lubrizol quality standards across the enterprise.
- Capable of being perceived as a leader for Quality across operations and the businesses.
- Strong presentation skills to deliver key messages to senior management.
- Ability to communicate and interact successfully at all levels.

Skills that Make a Difference:
- BS in Engineering, Chemistry or field technically relevant to the chemical industry.
- 5 or more years of experience in lubricant industry process technology, technology management, or manufacturing quality support.
- Experience influencing stakeholder decision-making to achieve results.
- Experience using statistical analysis and problem-solving tools.
- Experience at leading change, understanding challenges and culture within operations.
- Awareness and understanding of relevant quality management systems and standards.
- Understanding of Lubrizol LZA raw materials, intermediate and finished product technologies a plus.
- SAP, BOBJ, LIMS or equivalent enterprise management software considered a plus.
